Baku – APA. Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov received Sayyed Gals bin Salim Ali Al Said, the newly-appointed ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Azerbaijan, whose residence is based in Ankara, Foreign Ministry’s press service told APA. Submitting the copy of his credentials S. Said expressed his satisfaction with his appointment. Ambassador underlined that there is a large potential to improve the cooperation between the two countries in a number of spheres and said he will do his best for extending Oman-Azerbaijan relations.
Elmar Mammadyarov congratulated the Omani diplomat on his appointment as ambassador and wished him success in his activity.
Foreign Minister also received the copy of the credentials of David Nieves Velaskes Caraballo, the newly-appointed ambassador of Venezuela to Azerbaijan, whose residence is based in Tehran.
