Baku – APA. Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov received Sidi Mohammed Ould, the newly-appointed ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania to Azerbaijan, whose residence is based in Moscow, Foreign Ministry’s press service told APA. Submitting the copy of his credentials Sidi Mohammed Ould expressed his satisfaction with his appointment. Ambassador underlined that there is a large potential to improve the cooperation between the two countries in a number of spheres and said he will do his best for extending Mauritania-Azerbaijan relations.
Elmar Mammadyarov congratulated the Mauritanian diplomat on his appointment as ambassador and wished him success in his activity.
