Baku - APA. On October 11, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev received Iranian President’s adviser for Caspian issues, Deputy Foreign Minister Mohammad Mehdi Akhundzadeh, APA reports. President Aliyev congratulated Akhundzadeh on the occasion of his new appointment. The head of state spoke about successful development of relations between our countries in different spheres and expressed hope that it would positively impact on solution of the issues related to the Caspian Sea. Touching upon the summit of Caspian littoral states to be held in Baku, Aliyev said that he was sure results of this summit would be positive.
In turn, Akhundzadeh said that he was proud to pay his first visit to Azerbaijan after his new appointment.
