US expert: â€œAzerbaijan has become big oil-gas exporter over the past 15 yearsâ€

Azerbaijan assumes great importance in transit sphere as wellâ€, said Edward Chow, energy analyst at Center for Strategic and International Studies during the conference on the Caspian energy and Geopolitics organized at the George Washington University, APA reports. He reminded his previous visit to Azerbaijan 12 years ago and said that main purpose of the visit was to observe development and changes in the energy sphere of the country.

The visit has been financed by US embassy in Azerbaijan.

In the next two days, Chow will meet with representatives and experts of related bodies in energy sector of Azerbaijan.

Today, Edward Chow has delivered a lecture for students of Azerbaijan State Oil Academy.

Note that, Edward Chow has 30-year practice in oil sphere. He worked at â€œChevronâ€ Company of US for 20 years. Moreover, he worked in the Middle East, Africa, South America, Europe and USSR.
