President of Azerbaijan: â€œI am hopeful that the fact-finding mission will describe all facts of the occupation in its reportâ€

According to APA, the head of state said he was glad to welcome the fact-finding mission in Nakhchivan Autonomous republic of Azerbaijan and appreciated their visit as a positive case.

President Aliyev welcomed the missionâ€™s activity and emphasized the importance of the fact-finding missionâ€™s report prepared after its visit to the occupied territories in 2005.

Touching upon the importance of the UNHCR officials in the fact-finding mission, the head of state said he was hopeful that the fact-finding mission would prepare an unbiased report on the results of their monitoring and describe all facts of the occupation, including illegal settlements and destructions in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan.

Members of the delegation expressed satisfaction with their visit to Nakhchivan and informed the Azerbaijani president about the work to be done within the fact-finding mission.

The co-chairs will leave Nakhchivan for Armenia.
