Azerbaijani delegation to leave for Palermo to attend OSCE Parliamentary Assembly autumn session

Baku. Rashad Suleymanov â€“ APA. Azerbaijani parliamentary delegation headed by Vice Speaker Bahar Muradova will leave for Palermo, Italy on October 7 to attend the OSCE Parliamentary Assemblyâ€™s autumn session, press service of the Azerbaijani parliament told APA.

Chairwoman of the Human Rights Committee of the parliament Rabiyyat Aslanova and MP Fazil Mustafa are in the delegation.

The parliamentarians will discuss the Mediterranean Forum issues, including economic and infrastructure cooperation, as well as culture and environment protection issues in the Mediterranean region on the first day of the session.

On October 9, a conference on combating transnational organized crime and anti-corruption actions will be held within the framework of the session. It also will cover measures taken for prevention of human traffic.

The permanent committee will gather in a whole meeting of the session, where it will discuss the OSCE PAâ€™s action plan for the next period. Azerbaijani parliamentarians will express their opinions on the issues put on the sessionâ€™s agenda.
