Upon reporting about an activity of COE COM, Antonio Miloshoski answered parliamentarians’ questions.

A member of Azerbaijani delegation to PACE Rafael Husseinov asked a question Antonio Miloshoski: "Europe’s future depends on integration, more convergence and the transparency of the borders. But the fundamental condition of the convergence implicates respect of the territorial integrity and invoilability of the borders. Is it a threat to Europe’s future, if COE member country defiantly violates this principle? What can the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe do, within its powers, to eliminate this undesirable situation?

Responding to the question A. Miloshoski said: "Indeed, the territorial integrity and inviolability of the borders are amongst the highest principles, which must be observed not only in Europe but also throughout the world. The Council of Europe constant supports the protection of these principles. Unfortunately, such case still exists amongst the CE member countries. COE wishes very much that the Armenia – Azerbaijan conflict should be resolved via peaceful and diplomatic means. In this regard, there are some small but still progresses, and it gives a hope that the steps taken toward this direction will lead to the desired results. It meets both two peoples’ intersts and COE’s intersts."
