President Ilham Aliyev receives credentials of ambassadors of Latvia, Germany and Norway

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev stated that there occurred good prospects for development of bilateral relations between Latvia and Azerbaijan and attached an importance of further development of relations with the help of activity of Latvian diplomatic representation in Baku. The President expressed his confidence that relations would be strengthened during the ambassadorâ€™s diplomatic mission in Azerbaijan.
The Ambassador assured the President that he would do his best for further expansion of mutual cooperation during his activity in Baku.
President Ilham Aliyev has also received credentials of newly-appointed German Ambassador to Azerbaijan Herbert Quelle. The President stated that bilateral relations, as well as cooperation on economy and policy developed successfully. He hoped for further expansion of relations between the Azerbaijan and Germany during the diplomatic mission of the new Ambassador to our country.
The Ambassador stressed that he would make efforts to expand friendly relations between the two countries.
The head of state has also received the credentials of newly-appointed ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway to Azerbaijan Erling Skjonsberg. President Aliyev congratulated the Norwegian diplomat on his appointment and wished him successes in his future activity. The ambassador in return expressed satisfaction with his appointment to our country. He emphasized that there is a large potential for the development of cooperation between our countries in a number of fields and said he would work for deepening of Norway-Azerbaijan relations.
