Baku. Ramil Mammadli – APA. Azerbaijani government knows what the European Counil expects on the election issues, Venice Commission Secretary Thomas Markert told journalists.
“According to the Central Election Center all political parties in the country intend to attend the elections. They don’t intend to boycott.â€
He also says that Azerbaijani government knows what European Council expects from it on the election issues: “I think it is not a suitable time to implement the assessment on the electoral environment. More information will be got after November 7. If the elections will be held fair and free it means that the election process was held in accordance to European standards.â€
