Member of Georgian parliament: The reports that Azerbaijan does not accept the nomination of ambassador Irakli Kavtaradze are not true

He has not received agrement from Azerbaijan,â€ member of the Georgian parliamentâ€™s foreign affairs committee, parliamentarian from opposition Nika Laliashvili said, APAâ€™s Georgia bureau reports. According to him, Irakli Kavtaradze is still considered member of the parliament.
â€œA member of the parliament is not dismissed from the parliament after appointment as ambassador. This procedure is realized after the ambassador starts his diplomatic activity,â€ he said.

Nika Laliashvili said Azerbaijan is a strategic partner of Georgia.
â€œOur relations with this country continue. Simply, the realization of diplomatic procedures requires some time. Relations can not do without bureaucratic rules. Earlier I had worked in the diplomatic service. I had seen how much these procedures last,â€ he said.

According to Nika Laliashvili, the reports that Azerbaijan does not accept the nomination of Irakli Kavtaradze are not true.
