Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia and Russia joined this agreement on the South Caucasus in 1992”, Department Chief of the Azerbaijan’s Presidential Administration Ali Hasanov told journalists, APA reports.

Hasanov noted that according to appropriate flank agreement, quota of simple weapons, as well as military equipment – military aircrafts, tanks and etc. which may be set up in the South Caucasus has been determined: “We know that out of the range of this quota, that is, OSCE control, weapons and armed forces have been gathered in Nagorno Karabakh and no control or report were held over these weapons.

Armenian armed forces’ quota also includes the Russian base setup there. That is, weapons setup by Russia in the South Caucasus must correspond with Armenian quota. Though these issues are regulated by interstates relations, they must meet demands of OSCE. Currently, our military specialists, as well as OSCE officials engaged in this issue count the quota whether it has been disturbed or not. Nevertheless, as I said, this quota was disturbed in Nagorno Karabakh. Azerbaijani government will take stance on this issue after the investigation”.
