Turkish President meets with Azerbaijani Prime Minister

Baku – APA. Turkish President Abdullah Gul, who is on a visit to Azerbaijan, received Azerbaijani Prime Minister Arthur Rasizadeh in his residence in Baku on August 17, APA reports. President Gul emphasized the high-level relations between the tow countries and said he was happy to see a rapid development in Azerbaijan. He said the bilateral relations were developing in political, security, economic and cultural spheres.

The sides expressed confidence in further extension of the relations.

Turkey’s efforts toward the peace and stability in the Caucasus were highly appreciated at the meeting. Turkish President said he supported the solution to Nagorno Karabakh conflict within the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan and his country was always together with Azerbaijan in this issue.

In his turn, Prime Minister Arthur Rasizadeh expressed confidence that the Turkish President’s visit will contribute to the extension of useful working relations for welfare of the two peoples.

They noted that the agreements reached during the visit will play an important role in the further development of friendly relationship between Turkey and Azerbaijan.
