Next summit of GUAM heads of states to be held at the end of the year

Baku. Viktoriya Dementyeva - APA. Next summit of GUAM may be held at the end of this year, Georgian FM Grigol Vashadze told, APA reports quoting Kommersant. He noted that GUAM members had continued their activity actively: “Member states have an interest to realize economic, energy, transport projects. It includes establishment of south energy corridor, transit of Azerbaijani energy carrier through Georgia and tourism projectsâ€.
Vashadze said that GUAM foreign ministers’ meeting would be held within the framework of UN General Assembly which would take place in September in New York: “History and agenda of GUAM summit will be determined at this meeting. Most probable, the summit will be held at the end of the yearâ€. Remind that last summit of the heads of Member States of GUAM was held in summer, 2007.
