APA reports that Peter Semneby will fulfill his mandate by February, 2011. Peter Semneby’s current mandate expires on August 31.
The mandate of the EU Special Representative is updated every six months.
Earlier, mass media reported that the posts of the EU special representatives for Moldova and South Caucasus would be cancelled in connection with the structural changes in the EU and establishment of the European External Action Service. The service will likely be established by December.
