According to the presidential order, the Treaty on Cooperation among the States Members of the Commonwealth of Independent States in Combating Terrorism signed June 4, 1999 in Minsk was approved together with a special opinion of the Republic of Azerbaijan (text of the special opinion enclosed).
According to other presidential order, the Ministry of National Security was determined as an authoritative organization from Azerbaijan considered by Part 1 of Article 3 of the Treaty on Cooperation among the States Members of the Commonwealth of Independent States in Combating Terrorism. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs was urged to inform the CIS Executive Committee about the determination of the authoritative organization.
