Tehran to host workshop â€œThe Republic of Azerbaijan: its place and role in the region and the worldâ€

Baku â€“ APA. On September 19, 2010, a workshop entitled â€œThe Republic of Azerbaijan: its place and role in the region and the worldâ€ will take place in Tehran. The workshop participants will hear the reports on Azerbaijan-Iran and Azerbaijan-Russia relations and their impact on the Caucasus region, Azerbaijan-Armenia relations and ways of solution to Nagorno Karabakh conflict, Azerbaijan-Georgia and Azerbaijan-Turkey relations and their impact on the Turkey-Armenian relations, Azerbaijanâ€™s relations with the CIS, Western and EU countries, their role in the solution of the Nagorno Karabakh problem, the OSCE Minsk Group and other subjects, the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Azerbaijan National academy of Sciences told APA.

Member of the Azerbaijani parliament, director of the Institute of Oriental Studies, Professor Govhar Bakhshaliyeva, as well as other scientists from the Institute of Oriental Studies and other scientific organizations will participate at the workshop.
