The press service of President says that the Ambassador emphasized the bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Latvia developed during his mission. The President noted importance of the reciprocal visits of the top officials of both countries.
The Ambassador said he came to Azerbaijan in late 2005 just after the first official visit of Latvian president to the country. And since, Azerbaijan has quickly developed and changed, the Ambassador emphasized. He especially noted the high growth rate in Azerbaijan under the leadership of incumbent president and high economic accomplishments.
Azerbaijani President received the outgoing ambassador of Sweden Hans Gunnar on the ending of his diplomatic mission. The current situation of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Sweden were discussed and views about the future development of cooperation were exchanged.
