Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Vagif Sadigov meets with Executive Director of the American Jewish Committee David Harris

Baku â€“ APA. Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Vagif Sadigov met with the delegation headed by the Executive Director of the American Jewish Committee David Harris, press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs told APA. Harris said he was happy to visit Azerbaijan and he witnessed rapid development in the country. He expressed confidence that his visit would contribute to the development of Azerbaijan-US relations. Sadigov informed the guest about the current state of the Azerbaijan-US relations and said the visit of the US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to Azerbaijan on July 4 would promote deepening of relations between the countries. The deputy minister informed about the Nagorno Karabakh conflict and said the conflict must be resolved within the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan for the establishment of sustainable peace and stability in the region. Sadigov said Azerbaijan was a multinational country and Azerbaijanis and other peoples were living here in peace and content throughout the centuries. The sides exchanged views about the issues in the framework of mutual interest.
