President of Azerbaijan meets with Iran’s minister of culture and Islamic education

Baku – APA. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has received the delegation headed by the minister of culture and Islamic education of the Islamic Republic of Iran Seyid Mohammad Huseyni, press service of the President told APA. Seyid Mohammad Huseyni has conveyed greetings of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to the Azerbaijani leader. The meeting has emphasized the friendship and brotherhood between the people as a source of successful development of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Iran in all spheres, including the culture. The cultural issues are playing important role and extension of cultural cooperation is important for both countries. The head of state thanked for Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s greetings and asked the minister to convey his greetings to the Iranian president.
