Samad Seyidov meets with Romanian ambassador to Azerbaijan Nikolae Ureche â€“ <font color=red> PHOTO</font>

Baku â€“ APA. Rector of Azerbaijan University of Languages, parliamentarian Samad Seyidov met with Romanian ambassador to Azerbaijan Nikolae Ureche, press service of the university told APA. They exchanged views on the cultural, scientific relations between Romania and Azerbaijan, establishment of the relations with the Romanian universities. Nikolae Ureche noted the importance of developing cultural and scientific relations and expressed his views on the opening of the Chair of the Romanian language at the Azerbaijan University of Languages. Ambassador said the establishment of the Chair at the university was expedient. Samad Seyidov positively assessed the proposal and said the university had large experience in this field, a number of languages falling under the Germanic language group were being taught at the university.
Samad Seyidov said he was satisfied with the establishment of the relations with the Romanian universities and underlined the possibility of establishing Center of the Romanian Language.

Rector said experts on the Romanian language might teach at Azerbaijan University of Languages in future.
Nikolae Ureche expressed his confidence that the cooperation between the Romanian universities and Azerbaijan University of Languages would contribute to the extension of the relations in education, science and culture. He said the teaching of the Romanian language would be an important step and serve the development of the relations.
