Members of Azerbaijani parliament to attend nineteenth session of OSCE Parliamentary Assembly

The delegation of Azerbaijani parliament will attend the nineteenth annual session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, member of the Azerbaijani delegation to OSCE PA Eldar Ibrahimov told APA. He said the session with the theme “Rule of Law: Combating Transnational Crime and Corruption” will take place in Oslo, the capital of Norway.
“This theme will be discussed in the Committee on Political affairs and Security, Committee on Science, Technology and Environment and Committee on Democracy, Human Rights and Humanitarian Questions,” he said.

Ibrahimov said the special plenary meeting of OSCE PA will be held on July 8, OSCE Chairman-in-Office Kanat Saudabayev will address the meeting. Following this, he will have debate with the parliamentarians.

The parliamentarian said they will speak about immoral actions of Armenians in the occupied territories.
“We will protest against the fact that Armenians made Aghdam mosque a stable, tied cow there. We will express our opinion on the negotiations on the resolution of Nagorno Karabakh and non-constructive actions of Armenia,” he said.
Eldar Ibrahimov also commented on the statement on Nagorno Karabakh conflict issued in Canada by the presidents of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairing countries.
He said Azerbaijan is satisfied with the statement, if the Armenian side does not flee, serious progress can be made in the resolution of the conflict.

Azerbaijani delegation led by vice-speaker of the parliament Bahar Muradova will attend the session in Oslo. The delegation includes Eldar Ibrahimov, Fattah Heydarov, Fazil Mustafa, Azay Guliyev and Rabiyyat Aslanova.
