Elmar Mammadyarov holds several meetings within the framework of his visit to Germany

Bilateral relations, situation in the region, Nagorno Karabakh conflict, energy policy in the Caspian basin and different energy projects were discussed at the meeting. Westerwelle spoke about dynamic development of political and economic relations between the two countries. Mammadyarov said that German, as well as European market was sustainable, profitable and forecasting. Other issues of mutual interest were discussed as well.

Mammadyarov also met with MP of the Christian Democratic Party, acting Chairman of the Committee for New Media, subcommittee ’Foreign Culture and Education Policy’ of the German Bundestag Philipp Missfelder. He delivered speech in front of the related working group and answered questions of deputies.

Moreover, Mammadyarov participated in the event organized by Azerbaijani embassy in Germany and by the support of famous German Kober Foundation. He answered questions about Azerbaijanâ€™s modern political, economic and energy policy, Nagorno Karabakh conflict.

At the end of the day Mammadyarov met with the adviser to the Federal Chancellor Christoph Hoysgen. Views were exchanged on issues of mutual interest.
