Strasbourg. Fuad Gulubayli - APA. PACE Monitoring Committee’s meeting was held within the framework of spring session of the organization, APA’s correspondent accredited to the EU reports. New co-reporters on Azerbaijan and Armenia were appointed at the meeting. Instead of Andres Herkel, Spanish parliamentary Pedro Agramunt Fon de Mora will officiate as co-reporter on Azerbaijan. And Swedish Goran Linbland will officiate as co-reporter on Armenia instead of French George Colombier.

New co-reporter on Armenia was met with dissatisfaction by Armenian side. Head of the Azerbaijani delegation to PACE Samad Seyidov told APA that though Armenian side expressed serious dissatisfaction on the appointment of Goran Linbland, Monitoring Committee had appointed him on Armenia. Taking stance on new co-reporter on Azerbaijan, Seyidov said that Azerbaijani side had met this appointment discontentedly: “I think that, Mr. Pedro Agramunt Fon de Mora is one of the authoritative politicians at PACE, as well as at EU. He is a very energetic deputy and Azerbaijan is ready to work with this person”.
