Mubariz Ahmadoglu: â€œAzerbaijan needs only 6 days to liberate its lands from Armenian occupationâ€

Political Innovation and Technology Center Director Mubariz Ahmadoglu spoke about existing situation on Armenia - Azerbaijan conflict. He said that Armenia wanted to aggravate tension in the region for distracting OSCE Minsk Groupâ€™s attention from the updated Madrid proposals: â€œArmenia makes efforts to bring to agenda thesis prohibiting application of force in the document. By starting negotiations with Turkey, Yerevan could lengthen the settlement of Nagorno Karabakh for some months. Last operations destroyed myth created due to military power of Armenian army. Soldier of Azerbaijan Army killed 4 Armenian servicemen and by this means he proved the power of Azerbaijani Armed Forcesâ€.

Ahmadoglu noted that Azerbaijan could start military operations in Nagorno Karabakh on the basis of UN Resolution #51: â€œAzerbaijan needs only 6 days to liberate its lands from Armenian occupationâ€.

The political analyst also added that Armenia had been establishing missile defense system in Azerbaijani occupied territory Kalbajar together with Iran. To him, this step of Armenia has been directed primarily against Russia and NATO.
