Chairperson of the Council of Europe Committee of Ministers: Â«The Council of Europe is against any form of terror display and its support in any countryÂ»

Chairperson of the Council of Europe Committee of Ministers, Foreign Minister of â€œthe former Yugoslav Republic of Macedoniaâ€ Antonio MiloÅ¡oski made this statement at the Parliamentary Assembly Session held today in the afternoon. He answered a member of the Azerbaijani delegation Rafael Husseinovâ€™s question about the attitude of the CE toward Armeniaâ€™s support of the terrorism.

After delivering a speech about an activity of the Council of Europe Committee of Ministers, Antonio MiloÅ¡oski answered the questions.

In his question R. Husseinov stressed that one of the outstanding notorious persons of the world terror network Monte Melkonian, had officially been proclaimed a national hero, erected a monument, and established a foundation in the honor of his name by the Armenian state. "Why does the Council of Europe tolerate a member state that demonstratively supports a terrorism and casts a shadow on CEâ€™s reputation?", - asked Rafael Husseinov the chairman of CE Committee of Ministers.

In reply to this question, Antonio MiloÅ¡oski said that the terrorism is one of the most troubles of the world that ever faced, and CE CM condemns the terrorism in all its documents as well as criticizes any country that supports the terrorism. "Therefore, supporting the terrorism by any country and its protection at the state level is absolutely unacceptable factor. It should be seriously struggled against any new kinds of such appearances. The issue that you raise is very disturbing one, and it needs to take the necessary relevant steps. Once again Iâ€™d like to repeat that â€œWe strongly condemn any form of terror display and we are against any form of its support not only in CE-related country but also in any countryâ€, - said Chairperson of the Council of Europe Committee of Ministers.
