Exhibition “Azerbaijan’s custom house on guard of cultural heritage†opens in Council of Europe

Exhibition “Azerbaijan’s custom house on guard of cultural heritage†has opened in the main building of the Council of Europe with the support of Azerbaijan’s permanent representation to the Council of Europe. APA’s correspondent accredited in the Council of Europe reports that the exhibition will last for three days. The opening ceremony will be held today. Chairman of the State Customs Committee Aydin Aliyev, PACE President Mevlut Cavusoglu, head of the Azerbaijani delegation to PACE Samad Seyidov and Azerbaijan’s permanent representative to the Council of Europe, ambassador Arif Mammadov will address the opening ceremony. Over 50 exhibits have been brought from the history museum of Azerbaijan State Customs Committee. A part of the exhibits are antique and historical things confiscated by the Azerbaijani custom house. The aim of the exhibition is to promote Azerbaijan’s attention and care for the cultural heritage and cultural diversity and the policy pursued by the Azerbaijani government.
