To him, election of deputy chairmen, establishment of relations within the framework of Lisbon Agreement, cooperation between armed groups in Europe and several other issues were discussed at the session held in Paris. Muradov said that discussions on “Frozen conflicts and security of Europe” were also discussed at the session: “Liberal Democrat MP of Great Britain Michael Hancock prepared a big report on this topic. Current situation connected with Nagorno Karabakh, Abkhazia and Transnistria conflicts, EU’s steps which will be taken in future were reflected in the report. The document was widely discussed”.

Muradov said that maintenance of stability in the region depended on the settlement of Nagorno Karabakh conflict: “Azerbaijan’s position in the negotiations conducted within the framework of the updated Madrid principles has been reflected in the report uniquely. The document was adopted after discussions. It was noted in this document that settlement of frozen conflicts would play an important role in the security of Europe”.

Muradov said that Turkish deputies made speeches on this issue as well.
