He said PKK was acting together with Armenian terrorists, APA reports. “We have to express our opinion on this issue. Otherwise Azerbaijani parliament will be one of the last parliaments in the world for its reaction to this issueâ€, said Hasanli.
The lawmaker also demanded the parliament speaker to work for releasing of arrested journalists. “Ganimat Zahid, Eynulla Fatullayev and two young bloggers should be releasedâ€.
Speaker of the parliament Ogtay Asadov responded the issues raised by the lawmakers. “Let the Turkish parliament to recognize PKK as a terrorist organization and then we will recognize itâ€.
Touching upon the issue of releasing the journalists, Asadov said: “I would like to speak about Eynulla Fatullayev only. This man wrote that Khojaly Genocide was committed by Azerbaijanis. Armenians are using it all over the world. He was sentenced for eight yearsâ€.
