Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry’s press service told APA that Elmar Mammadyarov left for Turkey in the evening on December 24. He will hold official meetings in Ankara today.
According to the Turkish Foreign Ministry’s official statement on the visit, Elmar Mammadyarov will have one-on-one meeting with his Turkish counterpart Ahmet Davutoglu, later the meeting will be held with participation of the delegations. President Abdullah Gul, speaker of the Turkish parliament Mehmet Ali Sahin and Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan will receive Elmar Mammadyarov. Prospects of Turkey-Azerbaijan relations, regional problems of mutual interest, mainly Nagorno Karabakh conflict will be discussed during the meetings.
