Turkish, Russian, Ukrainian and Georgian presidents congratulate Azerbaijani leader on his birthday

The presidents expressed satisfaction with the successful development of friendly relations between the two countries and confidence in further development of the relations.

Azerbaijani and Turkish leaders discussed the bilateral relations and latest developments of the settlement of Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict over Nagorno Karabakh.

On December 24, Russian President Dmitriy Medvedev also phoned President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and congratulated on his birthday wishing him successes in his presidency and good health.

The heads of states expressed satisfaction with the successful development of Azerbaijan-Russia relations emphasizing the importance of series of bilateral presidential meetings held in 2009 and agreed to continue the meetings in 2010.

President Aliyev highly appreciated the Russian presidentâ€™s activity toward the settlement of Armenia-Azerbaijan conflct over Nagorno Karabakh.

On December 24, Ukraineâ€™s President Victor Yushchenko also called Ilham Aliyev to congratulate him and to wish successes in his high-level activity and splendid health. The presidents emphasized the successful development of relations between the two countries and expressed confidence in further development of relations.

On December 24, Georgian president Mikheil Saakashvili also phoned Ilham Aliyev and congratulated him on his birthday. The two leaders emphasized the successful development of the bilateral relations and expressed confidence in further development of the relations.
