Azerbaijani President ends official visit to France

Azerbaijan and France have high-level relations in different spheres, including political and this visit has special importance for the development of bilateral relations, the sides emphasized at the meeting.

President Aliyev and Kouchner discussed the current state of processes toward the solution to the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict and the number of regional and international issues as well.

Azerbaijani leader met with the president of French Senate Gerard Larcher too. They noted that extension of interparliamentary relations contributes to the strengthening of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and France and emphasized the role of friendship groups in the enhancing of interparliamentary relations.

The sides exchanged opinions about the negotiations over the solution to the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict and the number of regional issues.

The president of Azerbaijan also met with the members of the French Owners Organizations â€“ MEDEF.

President Aliyev ended his official visit to France. He was seen off by the high-ranking government officials of France at the Orly International Airport of Paris.

The head of state returned to Baku in the evening on December 9.
