Baku – APA. Rector of Azerbaijan University of Languages, head of the parliament’s international relations committee Samad Seyidov met with Norwegian ambassador to Azerbaijan Jon Ramberg and professor of Oslo University Vibeke Roggen, the university’s press service told APA. They exchanged views on Azerbaijan-Norway relations. The sides discussed the prolongation of the project on teaching of the Norwegian language, culture and history in Azerbaijan and teaching of Azerbaijani studies in Norway implemented in 2006-2010 according to the agreement reached between Oslo University and Agder University of Norway and Azerbaijan University of Languages.
Samad Seyidov said the study of the Norway’s practice would contribute to the development of Azerbaijan’s statehood.
“Norway is our close friend. Norway’s practice will offer broad opportunities to Azerbaijan,†he said.
