Great System Party ceases cooperation with Council of Europe Office in Azerbaijan

Baku. Elnur Mammadli â€“ APA. The Great System Party of Azerbaijan issued statement in a protest against the activity of the Council of Europe Office in Azerbaijan and stopped cooperation with it, press service of the party told APA. The party analyzed the Council of Europe Officeâ€™s activity and concluded that it provided useless and harmful activity in the country recently. â€œThe Great System Party expressed protest against the Officeâ€™s activity, which spends Council of Europe resources meaninglessly, establishes relations with the political parties in accordance with its interests, shows non-objectiveness during the election process and the party condemned recent activity of the Office and declared ceasing of cooperation with itâ€. The party accused the Officeâ€™s managers in fraud and said if it didnâ€™t work in accordance with the interests of Azerbaijan and the party, the party will never set cooperation with the organization.

Director of the Council of Europe Information Office in Baku Ilgar Ibrahimli told APA that they donâ€™t know the statement and will express their reaction only familiarization with the document.
