Receb Tayib Erdogan: “The protocols signed by Turkey and Armenia very much depend on the developments of the peace process on Nagorno-Karabakh conflictâ€
The meeting went on for more than one hour and was closed for media.
While meeting with the Diaspora, Erdogan also touched this issue. The Prime-minister said, that the protocols that Turkey and Armenia signed recently, very much depend on the developments of the peace process on Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. The turkish leader asked the Diaspora to pay attention to this issue.
Erdogan aslo informed the Diaspora leaders about the main angles of Turkish foreign policy. The Assambly of Turkish-American Associations has recently started a campaign against armenian lies. This campaign was supported by thousands of turkish people from all over US. The target of that campaign was to inform the US Congress members about the real core of the 1915 events.
During his last day in Washington DC, Erdogan also met with a number of US Congress members, that are participating in the Turkish caucus in the Congress. Here Erdogan also touched the Armenian issue, and named the “genocide†resolution that is trying to be raised on US Congress’s agenda, unlawful and unfair.
Turkish leader has already left Washington DC, heading to Mexico.
