APA reports quoting the website of the French embassy that Azerbaijani President will meet with Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner, chairman of the National Assembly and chairman of the Senate. President of France Nicolas Sarkozy will host dinner in honor of Azerbaijani President. Azerbaijani President and French Foreign Minister will discuss urgent international issues, Iran’s nuclear program, state of the negotiations on the settlement of Nagorno Karabakh conflict, bilateral issues. Azerbaijan and France will sign an agreement on mutual lift of visa for short-term visits of the persons having diplomatic passports and agreement on technical cooperation in the field of taxes.
This is the eighth visit of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to France. Azerbaijan is considered the first trade partner of France in the Caucasus.
