Brussels hosts Azerbaijan-NATO consultations

Baku. Lachin Sultanova â€“ APA. The delegation headed by Azerbaijanâ€™s Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov visited the headquarters of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). Press service of the Foreign Ministry told APA. High-ranking officials of Azerbaijanâ€™s ministries of Defense, National Security, Internal Affairs, Emergency Situations and State Border Service were in the composition of the delegation.

Within the framework of the visit, Elmar Mammadyarov had a bilateral meeting with NATO leadership and attended the meeting of the North Atlantic Council held with Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan-NATO relations, implementation of Individual Partnership Action Plan (IPAP) by Azerbaijan, security in the region, as well as energy security and other issues of primary importance were in the focus of attention at the meeting.
