Baku. Agshin Rafigoglu - APA-Economics. In June 2015, 78,396 contracts were registered on compulsory insurance against civil liabilities of vehicle owners in Azerbaijan, up 13% from previous year.
According to CIB, of this, 13,769 were registered abroad and entered Azerbaijan for transit.
During the same period, the premiums on these contracts amounted to AZN 6.3 mln, up 25% in annual comparison.
In January-June 2015, the number of contracts on compulsory insurance against civil liabilities of vehicle owners made 476,000, up 14% from a year earlier. Premiums rose 20% to AZN 36.4 mln.
