Baku. Musa Ahmadov – APA-Economics. As of June 1, 2015, total foreign liabilities of Azerbaijan-based commercial banks stood at AZN 6,982,100,000, up AZN 2,565,800,000 or 58.1% from previous year.
Central Bank of Azerbaijan said foreign liabilities fell AZN 148.4 mln or 2.1% in May, .
Compared to early 2015, the foreign liabilities raised AZN 2,046,500,000 or 41.5%.
At the same time, as of June 1, 2015, banks’ total foreign assets stood at AZN 4,669.4 mln, up AZN 1.989 mln or 74.2% in comparison to a year earlier. Compared to previous months, these assets fell AZN 327 mln or 6.5%.
