Azerbaijan makes amendments in rules on public procurements

According to APA-Economics, this was considered in the decision of Ministry of Finance on “determination of price for publishing of notification on purchased services and minimum prices for conduction of public procurements of goods (works and services) via tenders and quotation polls in international press and internet”.

The decision aims to conform the procurement process to the new realities.

According to decision, the supposed minimum sum of goods for conduction of procurement via open tender remained at AZN 50,000.

Moreover, when the total price of purchased services is over AZN 10,000, the notification is also published in international press and internet.

Main amendment in the decision is determination of supposed minimum price of goods for conduction of procurements via quotation poll at AZN 5,000.
