Xalg Bank gets 19% rise in Q1 assets

Baku. Vahab Rzayev – APA-Economics. As of April 1 2013, assets of Xalg Bank made AZN 954.3617 mln (+19.1%).

During the reporting period, loan portfolio of the bank grew by 54.2% to AZN 694.509 mln, consumer loans made AZN 41.992 mln by rising 76.5%. Overdue credits soared 1.9 times to AZN 26.210 mln. Share of overdue credits in total loan portfolio rose 0.7% to 3.8%.

Deposit portfolio rose 19.1% to AZN 604.427 mln (+6.52%).

Total capital rose 10.1% to AZN 193.935 mln as well as authorized capital remained unchanged at AZN 169.099 mln.

Number of total customers increased by 57.8% to 36,283, as well as individuals rose 59.4% to 34,588, legal entities soared 26.3% to 1,695. Number of plastic cards stood at 11,340 as of April 1, 2013, down 6.6% compared to last year. Debit cards decreased by 13.5% to 9,000, credit cards grew by 33.0 to 2,340.

At present time, the bank operates 22 branches, 37 ATMs, 74 POS-terminals and 463 employees across the country.
