Baku. Shamil Alibayli - APA-Economics. In 2012, trade turnover between Turkey and Azerbaijan outrun $4 bn, said consul of Turkish embassy in Azerbaijan Riza Kagan Yilmaz.
According to APA-Economics, target of Turkey and Azerbaijan is to hit $10 bn: ‘The amount of investments from both countries is above $10 bn. This figure will increase in the near future. At present, jointly with SOCAR, Turkey is implementing TANAP, Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railroad projects. And it gives ground to increase the volume of investments’.
Yilmaz noted that currently, 1,000 Azerbaijani companies have been registered in Turkey: ‘And in turn, 1,000 Turkish companies operate in Azerbaijan’.
