Baku. Ali Ahmadov – APA-Economics. In January-February 2013, the main part of Azerbaijan’s foreign trade turnover fell to share of EU countries.
The State Statistical Committee told APA-Economics that $2,305,275.3600 or 41.04% of total trade turnover worth $5,616,970.1300 fell to share of EU states, $599,569.38 thousand or 10.67% - CIS, $2,712,125.39 thousand or 48.28% - other foreign countries.
Compared to last year, trade turnover with other foreign countries rose 20%, with CIS countries increased by 17.98%, with EU countries dropped 13.94%.
In January, negative balance in trade turnover with the CIS countries made $148,620.7 thousand; positive balance with the EU stood at $1,504,928.16 thousand; positive balance with other countries made $1,394,399.69 thousand.
