State duty for obtaining of foreign passports urgently increases in Azerbaijan

According to APA-Economics, in case of obtaining or changing of regular passport during 10 working days, or 2 days due to urgently treatment of Azerbaijani citizen or persons leaving with him/her, serious illness, death of close relative living abroad or another situations, the children under the age of 1 will pay AZN 10, from 1 to 3 – AZN 20, from 3 to 18 – AZN 30 and from 18 – AZN 40.

According to amendment offered in law, in case of obtaining or changing of regular passport during 5 working days, the children under the age of 1 will pay AZN 20, from 1 to 3 – AZN 40, from 3 to 18 – AZN 60 and from 18 – AZN 80. In case of obtaining or changing of regular passport during a working day, the children under the age of 1 will pay AZN 400, from 1 to 3 – AZN 80, from 3 to 18 – AZN 120 and from 18 – AZN 1600.

As a result of discussions, the draft law was recommended to plenary meeting of Milil Majlis.
