Proposals on amendments to the law on Compulsory insurances sent to Azerbaijani Presidential Administration

Baku. Vahab Rzayev – APA-Economics. The proposals on amendments to the law on Compulsory insurances have been sent to the Presidential Administration, Spokesperson of the State Insurance Supervision Service under the FinMinistry Namig Khalilov said, APA reports.

The changes concern especially two issues. First of all, we speak about inclusion of 4 insurance types belonging to Compulsory Insurance Bureau into single information system. At present, this system covers only compulsory insurance of civil liability of motor vehicle owners. Khalilov thinks the bureau solves technical issues related to this process.

It was noted that inclusion of compulsory insurance types into single information system will back the improvement of this sphere, analysis of information, operative impact and etc.

The second amendment to the law is related to inclusion of the law on Compulsory insurance against losing ability to work as a result of industrial accidents and professional diseases into the Compulsory Insurance Bureau. To him, this will guarantee on that insurance type, because the bureau performs as a guarantor on payments.

Khalilov thinks the amendments can be passed in spring of 2013.
