Positive balance of foreign trade turnover increases by 40%

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev – APA-Economics. State Statistical Committee says that the legal and individuals traded with partners in 154 countries in January-November, 2012.

SSC says foreign trade turnover made $ 39,473.1 mln, which $ 8,444.7 mln of this was import, $ 31,028.4 mln – export. Consequently, positive balance made $ 22,583.7 mln.

The export operations rose 26%, foreign trade turnover – by 19.1%, positive balance – by 40 % and import decreased by 0.7% compared to a year ago.

Export of non-oil products made $ 1,477.8 mln, up 11.2% from previous year.

82.7% of foreign trade operations were conducted with Italy, Germany, France, Indonesia, Russia, Israel, Turkey, US, Greece, Great Britain, Czech, Malaysia, Bulgaria, India, Ukraine, Georgia, China and Taiwan and other 17.3% - with other countries. .
