Per capital GDP in Azerbaijan reaches $7,491

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev – APA-Economics. In 2012, per capital GDP in Azerbaijan rose 0.8% to AZN 5,884.5 ($7,490.5) compared with 2011, said the chairman of State Statistical Committee Arif Valiyev.

Valiyev says GDP rose 2.2% to AZN 54 bln in 2012. 50% of GDP was produced in industrial spheres, 5.2% - in agriculture, hunting and forestry, 9.2% - in construction, 8.4% - trade and paid services, 5.5% - in transport, 1.7% - in communication, 13.8% - in services and social spheres, 6.2% - in net taxes to product and import.

GDP in non-oil sector rose 9.7%, in oil sector – reduced 5%, during the reporting period.
