Nikoil Bank sees 16% growth in assets

Baku. Vahab Rzayev – APA-Economics. As of January 1, 2013, Azerbaijan-based Nikoil Bank’s assets stood at AZN 209.066 mln, up 16.4% from a year earlier.

Bank says loan portfolio rose 22.9% to AZN 185.195 mln, including consumer lending made AZN 123.173 mln, up 21.3% from previous year. At the same time, overdue credits grew 7.6% to AZN 41.213 mln. Share of overdue credits in loan portfolio dropped 3.1 percentage points to 22.3%.

Deposit portfolio soared 5.1% to AZN 117.779 mln, as well as personal savings were equal to AZN 99.757 mln, up 10.6% compared with a year ago.

Total capital fell 1.9% to AZN 31.028 mln, including authorized capital remained unchanged at AZN 22.5 mln.

Number of clients rose 37.7% to 153,498, as well as individuals surged 38.8% to 150.015, legal entities – 3.6% to 3,483. Number of plastic cards was 22,022, up 26.8% from 2012, including debit cards grew 29.8% to 21,475, credit cards slipped 33.3% to 547.

For the present, the bank operates 14 branches, 25 ATMs and 275 POS-terminals across the country. Besides, bank has 468 employees, average monthly salary is AZN 1,060.
