More than a half of incomes in Azerbaijan accumulated in non-oil sector

Baku. Ali Ahmedov – APA-Economics. More than a half of incomes in Azerbaijan were accumulated in non-oil sector. Ministry of Finance has transferred AZN 6,025,366,500 to state budget during the reporting period. According to Ministry, 37.4% of this transfer was profit tax, 24.6% - VAT, 13.5% - individuals’ tax, 7.5% - excises, 17.0% - other taxes.

In 2012, AZN 3,286,509,700 came from non-oil sector, up 14.5% in comparison to 2011. Share of taxes from non-oil sector in total receipts made 54.54%.

72,263 taxpayers were registered across the country and from July 1, 2011 to January 1, 2013, 55,086 individuals were registered electronically. Consequently, as of January 1, 2013, registered taxpayers made 481,710.
