Money transfers from Russia to Azerbaijan increase by 22%

Baku. Vahab Rzayev – APA-Economics. In 2012, $ 1.139 bln. private money was transferred to Azerbaijan from Russia, up 22.2% from a year earlier, said the Russian Central Bank. 

 

Totally, the volume of transfers from Russia to CIS countries reached $ 20.110 bln., up 21.7% compared with a year earlier. 

 

Thus, share of Azerbaijan in CIS for money transfers made 5.7%.

 

Most of transfers were consumed with Uzbekistan ($6.241 bln). Second place was held by Ukraine ($3.397 bln). Besides, during the reporting period, $ 3.125 bln was transferred to Tajikistan, $1.960 bln – to Moldova, $1.682 bln – to Kyrgyzstan, $1.398 bln – to Armenia, $843 mln – to Belarus, $298 mln – to Kazakhstan and $27 mln – to Turkmenistan.
