Head of State Insurance Supervisory Service under the Ministry of Finance Namig Khalilov said that it is higher and this was caused by high payments of insurers and other expenditures. 47%-index must be considered as normal. In some countries, this type of insurance is unprofitable for companies. And the loss rate in this sphere is 120-120%. But, the companies operate with this type and compensate the loss from other profitable insurance types.
Note that another reason is the increase of road accidents. Consequently, half of the premiums on this type is directed to the payments and other different expenses.
